If you dislike your student's teachers, your student will dislike them too. If you hate homework, your student will hate it too. Crying and saying "I'm trying" is now a valid excuse for your student to not complete the homework since you accept it and "hate" the teachers. Do not be a "friend" to your child. Speak with the teacher about your concern and what can be done to help. If you you just gang up with your child, nothing will change, and your child will be worse for it in the future.
