Are other students facing similar problem? by: Aish A.
Lisa, your situation is very common amongst parents with school going children. Homework is a major cause of angst and stress for parents and students both. What will be helpful to know is- are other students in your daughters class facing the same issue? Are they all getting overwhelmed with the amount of homework?
If not, as Angela has very rightly mentioned on this site, homework problems can arise due to multiple reasons and a common one includes- not being able to plan things well and allocate enough time.
Parents that seek personal tutoring and math homework help with our tutors at http://www.clickandclimb.com, face both problems-
1. Not knowing the subject matter
2. Not finding the time/resources to do the homework.
And yes, the biggest of all- student not wanting to do the homework at all. No matter what!
I am sure your daughter is trying hard and may not fit in category 1 above. But again, knowing fir sure will greatly help. Every parent (and student) should try to find the root cause of the issue first before reaching out for a solution.
Do you (and others) agree with this?
