Science Homework Help

science homework help

Before I share the best places to receive science homework help, I want to remind parents exactly how I feel their involvment with their children's homework:

Parents should not do their children's homework, keep track of their children's homework, or worry about their children's homework!

Of course, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be able to answer a question now and then, right? I agree! Here are some of the best science homework sites on the web:

Online
Science Homework Help

The Britannica Encyclopedia
My father always said, "If you have a question, look it up!" He was talking about the dictionary or those old, heavy encyclopedias, but the advice is still good. This site has more science information than you will ever need, so get looking!

Jishka
I love this site: it's easy on the eyes and easy to navigate! Another plus is that information is organized by subject and grade level.

BJ Pinchbeck
This site has so much information, it really is incredible. This is also a good place to go to find every other homework help site imaginable. When it comes to science, you will be able to easily search your particular topic such as zoology, physics, medicine, etc.

Discovery Education
Kids love this site- and for good reason! The videos, interactive videos and interactive explorations "engage students and help them connect science" to that upcoming exam, that research project, and even the real world! Don't be surprised if your child sits down to study one thing, and two hours later is engrossed in an entirely different subject! (That's a good thing, unless it's the night before the test!)

Internet History of Science Source Book
"This site explores the history of science throughout time and around the world." Yes, it most certainly does! I simply cannot imagine a better website for a science history research paper or to get ideas for that awesome science fair project.

These sites are great places to find answers to quick questions, do research for a paper or find the perfect science fair project idea. However, if you think your student needs intensive science homework help, think about finding a tutor.

Also, please don't forget to teach your kids how to study for tests and exams!
